The Present
sangam was initailly formed in the name of Goud Yuva
Jana Sangam in 1939. The first President and
Secretaries were Srk K. Rajalingam Goud Dy.Registrar
Osmania University and Dr. P.Anjaiah Goud respectively.
The name of the Organization was changed to "Goud Jana
Sangam" and later became "Nizam rastra Goud Jana
Sangam". At that point of time the Organization
submetted representations and memoranda to the Prime
Minster of Hyderabad State Sri Syed Ismail for providing
better facilities to the Goudas who contributed in a big
way to the Government Exchequer. Late Raja Narsa Goud of
Nizamabad was the first President of the Nizam Rastra
Goud Jana Sangam with Sri.Chirag Pratap Lingam Goud as
the Secretary and a conference was held at Tulja Bhavan
at Kachiguda, Hyderabad which was attended by Gouds from
all over the State of Hyderabad. Then the elders of
Goudas thought of establishment of Gouda Hostel in 1954.
In 1956 when Andhra Pradesh state was formed. Nizam
Rastra Goud Sangam was named as "A.P. Goud Sangam" as
desired by Sri.Gouthu Latchanna, Sri. Anagani Bhagawanth
Rao and others to make it a State organization. In
1976 Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Goud hostel and Goud
convention were held and many gouds from different parts
of the state have attended the occasion.
On account
of the efforts by the AP Goud Sangam and untiring
persuasion by the Goud communities in 1978 we had 12
MLA's and Two M.P's, emerging out successfully.
At Present
Gouda Sangam in doing well for the development of Go uds
in the Society in all fields including Education,
Employment, Political and Economic fields. In recent
elections of the local bodies the Gouds participated in
a good number and achieved targets. We except the same
in political arena to devote ourselves to the Society.
So we have to put in our soul to win the game which is
the real one. |
