 FOUNDATION
In 1993, a Group of young and enthusiastic
Educationalists teamed up and formed SAI HARINI
EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY. This Society realized the
necessity of a college consisting of modern
Groups such as Computers .Electronics and Micro
Biology in the District Head Quarters. This led
them to establish SSR Degree College and
motivated to start SSR Junior College with all
Conventional courses to reach every student.

SSR Degree College is affiliated to OSMANIA
UNIVERSITY and SSR Junior College is recognized
by the Government of ANDHRA PRADESH and B.I.E.
ABOUT COLLEGE
This College is located at heart of the city,
nearer to Bus Stand and Railway Station. It is
with Spacious Class rooms, well equipped
laboratories, Excellent Library Facility managed
by trained Librarian and vast municipal play
ground for enthusiastic sports persons.
Institution takes care of the all round
development of the students and helps them to
become successful. Our students are securing
large no. of Seats and top ranks in various PG
Entrance Examinations since the establishment of
the College.
It is one of the reputed and well-establishment
of the College.
THE MOTTO
The motto of the college is to impart
qualitative and career oriented education to
youngsters and mould them into worthy citizens
of the society. The college tries to give a new
orientation and Educate the students to touch
the life at all points, including the most
important one, “the human point” so…think of SSR
College.
THE STAFF
SSR. degree College is consisted of qualified,
dedicated young and dynamic staff. Because of
hard work of staff and full support from the
Principal ,they are able to producing good
results (Since 1993) .By the same inspiration a
separate staff of provided for Junior College
who can prepare the students for Intermediate
exams as well as EAMCET.
LIBRARY
The Library of
S.S.R. Degree College is well enriched with
latest text books, Reference books and standard
journals in all subjects. The Library provides
facilities of Daily News papers in Telugu and
English, besides various competitive and useful
magazines. It also provides a spacious reading
room facility for enthusiastic readers.
The library of the
College also issues text books for each student.
COMPUTERS
Information
Technology is making an impact on every aspect
of our lives. Now a days it plays a vital role
in the daily functioning of all industrialized
society. It is used in almost all the places in
our society, keeping in view of this advancement
in the society, College thought of educating the
students in this matter and introduced this
subject at U.G. Level. College is providing
Modernized laboratories Consisting of Pentium
4’s
RULES OF
ADMISSION:
 B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., the candidates who have passed
intermediate public Examination ,conducted by
the B.I.E. Andhra Pradesh with C.E.C.,H.E.C.,
M.E.C., M.P.C., and Bi.P.C., respectively.
Selection of candidates for I year Degree course will
be made on the basis of merit. The rule of
reservation for the categories mentioned as per
the Government norms, and O.U.Follows.
The list of provisionally selected candidates is
displayed on the notice board of the college.
All Admissions made are provisional.
All the relevant details required in the Application
form should be filled by the candidate only.
Candidate
should apply separate application form for each
group. An application which is incomplete liable
to be rejected. Admission will be given
according to O.U. Norms. The College reserves
the right to cancel the admission at any stage,
if it is found to be against rules.
CONDUCTOR
BEHAVIOUR:
The Principal has complete powers and authority for
the maintenance of discipline in the college,
the principal may impose fine and suspend or
expel a student from the college in case of
indiscipline or violent behaviors or gross
insubordination and violation of college rules
and regulations.
 A Student who is irregular in attendance of the class
is liable to Forfeit his claim towards
Scholarship&Bus pass concessions..
The principal may stop or cancel scholarship or any
financial aid to student on the grounds of
irregularity or indiscipline or indecent
behavior.
The student should always carry their identity cards
with them and produce them to the authorities
when ever demanded.
The students should be on time to the college and
attend the classes regularly.
Hall tickets will be issued to the students on
clearing all the dues (College fee, Books).
The principal will generally keep in touch with the
parents or guardians of students who are
academically backward, and do not regularly
attend the classes or pay the fee etc. The
students names who found incorrigible even
after the warning will be removed from the
rolls of the college.
The students are required to maintain silence in the
classrooms. They should not stand in the
corridors or knock the classes by which others
are disturbed.
Bringing out siders into the college premises
without obtaining prior permission from the
principal is viewed very seriously.
No student is allowed to organize any political
organization within the college premises.
Organizing Boycotting of classes and any
activity by which peace and tranquility in the
college disturbed, will be dealt with severely
and students involved encouraging such activity
will be expelled from the college.
Ragging in and around the college is strictly
prohibited. The students who involve in ragging
are not only expelled from the college but also
handed over to the police.
This being a Co-Education college any teasing a girl
be expelled from the college, frequent movements
of boys and girls together is discouraged.
EXAMINATION RULES:
The college will conduct monthly examination at the
end of every month. It is essential that the
students should appear for all these
examinations. Parents are duly informed about
the students performance.
The students should complete certain number of
assignments in every subjects which are given to
them by the respective Lectures. If they fail to
submit the assignments ontime, they are punished
by the college authorities.
Pre-Finals Examinations will be conducted in the
month of February on the pattern of the
University Examinations.
The Hall-Tickets are issued after the clearance of
college fee, Library books and submission of No
Dues Certificate.
