 Dr.M.S.Gowd,
Honorary Dental Surgeon to His Excellency Governor of Andhra
Pradesh, Past President, Indian Prosthodontic Society,
Professor and Head, Department of Prosthodontics and
Principal Army College of Dental Sciences Secunderabad is a
member of International Association for Dental Research,
Virginia, USA; a prestigious dental Research organization
with a worldwide network of dental community. The rare
honour (IADR-Membership) adds another feather in his cap,
reflecting his illustrious career and multi faceted
personality.
In the year
2005, the South-East Asia division has conferred Dr.M.S.Gowd
a Membership, which is an important milestone in his career
with an excellent track record of serving the dental
community for the past 38 years. Megacity Navakala Vedika
honoured Dr.M.S.Gowd with "Vydyasiromani Award"
during Doctors Day Celebration 2005.
Till date he was
awarded many prestigious International memberships
ADA-American Dental Association, AACD-American Academy of
Cosmetic Dentistry and Fellowships (FACD-American College of
Dentists, FDI-Federation Dentistry International, FICD-Fellow
International College of Dentists, FICP-Fellow International
College of Prosthodontics) copies are enclosed.
 He
is an authour of books in English "Smile", Designing
Smile to Smile and Telugu " Mee
Chirunavvunu Saridhidukondi" on comprehensive dental
care and education. Later he also released his book in Hindi
"Muskaan". Again on 5th August 2005 the Urdu version
"Muskurahat" a work on dental care written by
Dr.M.S.Gowd was released by the President of India,
Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam and Dr.M.S.Gowd has become first Indian
Dental Surgeon ever publishing books on comprehensive dental
care and dental education in 4 different languages.
Dr.M.S.Gowd
graduated from Osmania University and later received his
Post Graduation from Bombay University in the year 1971 and
is practicing dental surgery since then in Hyderabad.
He has Broadened
his dental skills over the years with specialized implant
studies.
Dr.M.S.Gowd is a
proud father to two children, daughter and son and both of
them are Dental Surgeons including his son-in-law who is
also a Dental Surgeon.
 Dr.M.S.Dowd
an eminent Prosthodontist of Hyderabad was awarded
fellowship of the American College of Dentists, during the
83rd Annual Meeting and Convocation held at San Francisco,
USA. He was felicitated with citation by the Hon'ble
President of India, Dr.APJ.Abdul Kalam. during the inaugural
function of the World Prosthodontic Congress held on 26th
November 2003 at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. Dr.M.S.Gowd is
the first Dental Surgeon from Andhra Pradesh to receive
these coveted honours.
 Recipient
of many National and International Fellowships for his
outstanding contribution to Dentistry in general and
Cosmetic Dentistry in particular. Dr.M.S.Gowd has undergone
advanced training in Dental implants computer imaging
technology to depict the complete treatment plan right from
the initial position to the final desired ideal position.
These new high-tech procedures are routinely conducted by
Dr.M.S.Gowd and his team.
 Dr.M.S.Gowd
is the founder Chairman of Dr.Gowds Dental Hospitals located
at three centers in the Twin Cities of Hyderabad and
Secunderabad.
