Sri Justice B. Sri Atchuthananda Swamy was born on
Eleventh July Nineteen Forty Two (11.07.1942) at
Mukteswaram, Ainavalli Mandal, East Godavari District of
Andhra Pradesh, India.
Obtained B.Sc., Degree from S.K.B.R. College, Amalapuram
and B.L. Degree from Andhra University, Waltair.
Enrolled as an Advocate of A.P. High Court on 6th
February, 1976 at Hyderabad. Did his Apprentice in the
Office of Sri Alladi Kuppu Swamy, Former Chief Justice,
High Court of A.P. and was attached to him as a junior.
After elevation of Sri Alladi Kuppu Swamy, worked in
Chambers of Sri P. Siva Shanker, former Judge, High
Court of A.P., former Governor & Union Minister.
Started independent practice from 1974 exclusively in
the High Court; attracted a fair Volume of Work in all
the branches of Law, Constitutional, Civil, Criminal,
Labour and Company Matters.
He is an Income Tax Assessee since 1980. He was the (a)
Legal Advisor, A.P.S.F.C. since June, 1992, (b) Member,
A.P. High Court. Legal Aid Committee since August, 1992,
(c) Administrator & Official Trustee of A.P.
(1982-1983), (d) Legal Advisor, A.P.S.S.I.D.C.
(1975-83), (e) Member, Regional Direct Taxes Advisory
Committee, Hyderabad. (1983-85), (f) Member, Telephone
Advisory Committee, Hyderabad Telecommunications
(1986-88), (g) Member, Disciplinary Committee, Bar
Council of A.P. (1978-83), (h) General Secretary,
A.P.H.C. Advocates Association for 2 Terms (1976-77 &
1977-78), (i) Founder President, A.P. Young Advocates
Association (1970-75) and instrumental in improving
their working conditions in the Profession, (j)
President, A.P.B.C., S.C. & S.T. Advocates Association
and instrumental in implementing rule of reservation in
appointment to the post of Law Officers in the State of
A.P. (k) Associated with various Social and Cultural
Organisations both at the State level and in the Twin
Cities, (l) Actively involved in the improvement of
living conditions of weaker sections, (m) Talented Actor
and Director in Social Dramas. Sworn in as Judge of
High Court of A.P. w.e.f. 2.5.1995. He was retired on
